Pitkin County Community Development offices will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:

• December 31: Closed at 3 PM and all day on January 1

Important Notice: Spear Phishing Alert - Please review this informational notice regarding recent phishing attempts targeting planning applicants. These emails impersonate Pitkin County staff and fraudulently request payment of planning application fees.  

The Planning Application Process will be unavailable 12/26 while we perform updates on the process. No planning applications can be submitted during this time. 

For all Building Permits or Planning Applications, you must create an account in Sages, and follow the steps below.
